Fiona McLean works as the Women’s Discipleship Minister (half-time) at the Unichurch congregation at St Jude’s Anglican Church, Carlton, in Melbourne. She is also an involved member of St Stephen’s Anglican Church, Greythorn, which she attends with her husband Gus (a teacher) and their four children, aged 13-19. She serves on a number of Anglican committees/boards (including Gafcon Australia), as well as the Victorian committee of The Gospel Coalition Australia. She is thankful for many things, including her job, cycling to work (and elsewhere), reading a wide variety of books, playing Scrabble, and dinner times when the whole family is home!
Candice has been following Jesus since her late teens, after God saved her through a youth Bible study group. She serves as a senior staffworker with the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES) at Deakin University, where she loves seeing uni students grow as followers of Christ. Before training for ministry, she worked as a community dietitian in country Victoria. Candice is a member of St John’s Anglican in Blackburn, a new congregation in partnership with Holy Trinity Doncaster. She is also the Victorian State Coordinator for Mark Drama Australia. Candice enjoys hiking (especially near the ocean), exploring new places, and reading picture books with her godchildren.
